Fine Arts Teacher

This is my first full year of teaching high school fine arts at Agora Cyber Charter School.  I have taught fine arts, computer graphics and design, as well as programming for over ten years.  I have also taught at the Carnegie Museum of Art in the Children's Studio as well as the Adult Art Studio for over ten years, learning new ways to connect art projects to art history.

My husband Craig and I have two children.  My son Logan is two and a half and is excited about learning. Everyday I am amazed by him. My daughter Zoe will be turning one in June.  Just thinking of her makes me smile.  She is a happy girl and can just brighten my day.

My lessons at the high school are planned and presented to exercise students' perceptual abilities as well as enhance their creativity.  I try to encourage an atmosphere that allows students to feel at ease and able to have fun.  My student's have worked diligently on their projects and are pleased with the quality of work that they have accomplished.  My main goal is to ensure that the students end up with a meaningful art experience at the end of the day. Below is a youtube video of our art show from the first semester.
